Q: What is Le Bouquetier?
In French, a vessel that holds flowers. Le Bouquetier, featuring the floral artistry
of Jacklyn Le, specializes in fine floral design for weddings in the Livermore Valley
Wine Country and Greater San Francisco Bay Area. Complimentary consultations are by appointment only.
Q: Where are you located?
Le Bouquetier is based in Pleasanton, California.
Q: How would you describe Le Bouquetier's design style?
Le Bouquetier designs can best be described as contemporary profuse; teeming with luscious color
and texture of only the freshest and finest product available. When appropriate, we love to borrow
facets from the fashion and interior design industries ranging from evocative fabrics to luxe
embellishments to further accent and personalize our designs.
Q: Do you do weddings in the Napa/Sonoma region?
Unfortunately, due to distance and subsequent travel time, the Napa/Sonoma Wine Country is beyond our delivery scope.
Q: I just recently got engaged, when should I schedule a consultation to discuss flowers?
Congratulations on your engagement! Le Bouquetier recommends scheduling a consultation 8-14 months prior to your wedding once
details such as the bridal gown, bridesmaids' dresses and ceremony and reception venues have been selected.
It's extremely helpful to bring along swatches of the dresses, photos of your venues as well as any magazine
clippings of arrangements that have caught your eye. They all make for a more productive consultation and
accurate price quote.
Q: What can I expect during a consultation?
Lots of questions! For instance, how do you envision your wedding? Soft and romantic or bold and modern? Perhaps something
in between? What are your favorite flowers? Least favorites?
Expect initial consultations to run approximately 1-1.5 hours
during which time you will be able to view our design portfolio. We will discuss your vision as well as colors, theme, needs
and budget. A detailed, itemized price quote is available within 2-3 days after our meeting.
Q: Do you require a minimum?
Yes and no. Because Le Bouquetier only books a very limited number of weddings per weekend, a $1500 minimum is required for
Saturday 2007 weddings, and a $2000 minimum for Saturday 2008 weddings, exclusive of delivery, setup, retrieval fees and sales tax.
Q: How much should I budget for my wedding flowers?
This will vary from couple to couple, depending on factors such as the overall wedding budget, size of the wedding
and priority placed on flowers. Based on our design price point, Le Bouquetier recommends the following guideline
depending on the amount of flowers envisioned and total guest list:
Minimal and Basic --- $10 per guest
Mid-Range Elegance --- $20 per guest
Grand and Lush --- $30+ per guest
Q: How do I go about booking Le Bouquetier for my wedding? And what is your payment policy?
A non-refundable deposit totaling 25% of the price quote is required for date reservation. Full balance is due 14 days prior to
your wedding date. Le Bouquetier gladly accepts cash payment, personal and cashier's checks.
Q: Am I allowed to make changes to the price quote once I book?
Absolutely! We just ask that everything be finalized before your full balance is due.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
It is understood that unforeseen situations and circumstances may arise in the wedding planning process.
However, in the event of a cancellation, all monies paid to Le Bouquetier would be non-refundable.
Q: Where do you get your fresh flowers?
The San Francisco Wholesale Flower Mart carries just about everything under the sun, from local varieties
to hard to find exotic imports.
Q: I'm thinking of having a vineyard wedding. Are there any local wineries you would recommend?
Vineyards are one of our favorite locations to work. Does anything epitomize a California wedding more?
Here in the Livermore Valley, there are a handful that really stand out. Whether your guestlist is 300 or 50,
there's one sure to suit your wedding and style.
